Term Definition

The Roman Goddess Trivia was known to the Greeks as Hecate or Hekate.Trivia can refer to tidbits of information, or to the Roman Goddess of the crossroads. To the Greeks, she was Hecate of the Moon and Witchcraft.  A triple-phase Goddess, the name Trivia is the plural form of trivia from the Latin trivium, tri = triple, and via=way.  This usually refers to a place where three paths, roads or 'ways' meet. Trivia is also a genus of sea shells similar to cowry shells that are used for divination, protection, and fertility.

Trivia can be found in several places on PaganPath, and it covers a wide range of interest such as Sabbats, Wicca, Witchcraft, Paganism, divination, gardening, herbs, and more.
