Convert measurements with this chart.Convert any of the recipes here on PaganPath by using this table.  Most of the recipes you will encounter are quite simple; with "parts" given as a measurement.

Recipe/Formula Example:

1 part ingredient A
3 parts ingredient B
4 parts ingredient C

Combine A, B and C.  Burn on incense charcoal.

In this recipe you may decide your "part" is a pinch.  You might wish to make a larger recipe by making your "part" a spoonful.  For a massive recipe, you "part" may be a pound or a kilo.  To clarify, if you made each "part" a gram, your entire batch for this recipe would weigh eight grams: 1 gram A + 3 grams B + 4 grams C.

Convert temperature, volume or weight easily.Note that drop measurements vary based on the viscosity of the liquid being measured and on the size of the dropper.  The standard is that 96 drops of water equal a U.S. teaspoon (4.93 ml), and 69 drops of water equal a U.K. teaspoon (3.56 ml).  Drops in PaganPath recipes are sometimes abbreviated as d. for drops or gtt. (gutta - from Latin guttae for drops).
