Invite your friend to come over for a visit. It can take time to coordinate schedules to fit the requirements of this spell, be persistent and patient. Cast this spell on the day you have arranged to meet your friend. Focus on your target and concentrate your energy. Rub the lemon over your body and replace it on your work surface. Apply a small amount of lavender oil to your chest, directly over your heart. Use the oil sparingly as you would with perfume or cologne. For best results, use the hot cocoa recipe above, projecting your energy through your hands as you mix the ingredients. If you are buying pre-made hot cocoa mix, open the packages pour them into the glass jar. Add the cinnamon and shake to mix well. Hold the jar in both hands and project your energy through your hands and into the mixture while saying:
|Let Sally find the words to say,
her deepest feelings this very day.
My love for her has been untold,
let a deeper relationship now unfold.
This spell will not cause any harm,
Freewill remains despite this charm.
Juice the lemon however you wish, squeezing, using an electric juice machine, pressing, etc. Rub the juice on the inside and outside of the two mugs. Allow to air dry, then rinse them quickly under cold water and towel dry. When your friend comes over, mix the cocoa with hot water as directed from the package instructions (or better yet, use the recipe above for PaganPath.com's own Hot For You Hot Cocoa mix) and serve.
It is always wise to support your magic within the mundane world. Chocolate, coffee and tea all do this by releasing certain chemicals in the body. Chocolate contains antioxidant phenols which, appropriately, may protect from heart disease and are also found in red wine. Among chocolate's three hundred or more chemicals is phenylethylamine which is closely related to amphetamines. Phenylethylamine raises blood pressure and blood sugar levels to act as a stimulant. Your target may associate his racing heart and elevated mood with your presence! Other stimulants present in chocolate are methylxanthines, caffeine and theobromine.
If either you or your target are allergic to chocolate, then tea or coffee make excellent substitutes. It is commonly known that coffee contains caffeine, but it also contains theobromine. Tea contains these chemicals as well, with the addition of theophylline.
