This is the first of our new PaganPath Library area called Pagan Parenting!

These are handy printable pages for kids of all ages.  Click the thumbnail image to view the full size.  When you do this, you get to the slide show and you can click on the right side of the image to go to the next coloring page.

For easiest printing, click the "Print" link under each page and use your browser's print feature.

These pages are designed to help with symbol recognition, such as the four elements of earth, air, fire and water, and the triskele or triskelion. The differences between a pentagram and pentacle, the names of the Sabbats of the wheel of the year, and much more.

A warm "Merry Meet" to everyone who came here from the Yahoo Group "Pagan Parenting in the Bible Belt"!

Name and color the Sabbats
Print Wheel of the Year page

This page says:  Color your own Wheel of the Year.  What color do you think each Sabbat should be?  There are other names for each Sabbat.  Do you know what they are?  Which two Sabbats are Equinoxes?  Which two Sabbats are Solstices?

Symbols of the Four Elements
Print Four Elements Page

This page says:  What color do you want to use for each element?  See how earth and air have a line like a horizon?  Notice how water points down like a cup to hold water.  See how fire is pointed like a flame.

A classic Labyrinth
Print Labyrinth Page

This page says:  This is a Labyrinth.  It is like a maze, but there is only one path to the center.  Labyrinth is from the word Labyrs which means double edged axe.  Can you see the axe shape of this Labyrinth?  Sound out the word Lab-uh-rinth.

How is a pentagram different from a pentacle
Print Pentagram Page

This page says:  Penta means five.  Can you see five points?  When you draw a five pointed star it is a pentagram.  When you wear a talisman with a pentagram on it, it is called a pentacle.

The points can show the four elements, plus the fifth element.  What color would you make each triangle in your pentagram?

The triple spiral is also known as the Triskelion
Print Triskele Page

This page says:  Tri means three, and this is a triple spiral.  Can you draw a line from the start to the center?  See how you go clockwise and then counter-clockwise.  Which is Deosil?  Which is Widdershins?

Triskele is Greek and means three legged.  The triple spiral is a very old symbol found in Celtic and pre-Celtic monuments from over 5000 years ago.
